Basics: I'm just a high school girl who loves hanging out with her friends and laughing at things that happened yesterday. I also happen to have a passionate love for words, whether that means reading, blogging, novelling, journalling, or otherwise.
Interests: I love reading, and I love writing. If I was giving a short summary of myself, I might just stop there. I'm very much a dork. I aspire to bake the perfect red velvet cupcake, which my brother would be very happy with. (He happily gobbles up whatever I bake.) I also dabble in crafty things like DIYs I find on Pinterest, and I taught myself to crochet using the Internet. I also love the internet, whether its blogs or Pinterest or Tumblr or Goodreads or Netflix or even Facebook. I probably spend too much time here.
Favorites:
- Books: Oh goodness, there are just too many to name. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan, but my tastes vary from the latest Sarah Dessen to John Green as well. Other current loves are dystopians like the Hunger Games, Delirium, Matched, and so many more. Also, I'm a sucker for supernatural romance.
- TV Shows: I could probably write a page on all of these, but instead, I'll just list: Lost, Bones, How I Met Your Mother, Castle, the Big Bang Theory, Friends, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse, Pretty Little Liars, Once Upon a Time, the Office, Doctor Who, and probably more that I'm just forgetting at this present moment.
- Movies: I have to confess that I like TV much more than I like movies...but my favorites are the Proposal, Get Smart, the Notebook, Tangled, Meet the Parents, Life as We Knew It, and Toy Story 3.
- Music: I love Kate Nash, Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Barellies, Taylor Swift, Kina Grannis, ALL CAPS, Lelia Broussard, Holly Conlan, Rachel Platten, Florence + The Machine, and lots of other things that you most likely have not heard of.
- Color: Probably closest to this, but this is too bright.
- Animal: The beluga whale, the hedgehog, and the giraffe.
Obsessions: Sweet tea, the color mint, Ben & Jerry's Half Baked ice cream, fonts, Cape Cod, tie-dye, friendship bracelets, Tumblr, and other things that I can't think of right now because another one of my obsessions is sleep.
